Entertainment With a new entertainment lineup, there's something for
everyone! Be sure to bring (or buy) your gourd drums so you can play
along! Sambandha and Tribal Calling will provide world music from the center
of the park. Mamadou & Vanessa will return this year
to perform both Saturday and Sunday . Mamadou, a native of Mali, West Africa, performs on a unique 6-stringed gourd
instrument, the doson'goni (hunter's harp).
Enjoy sounds as diverse as the art around you as you stroll beneath the
trees. Whether it's the pastel sounds of Motoshi Kosako's
harp or the earthy tones of Mamadou's doson'goni, pleasant sounds will be
wafting through the park, creating a leisurely atmosphere - perfect for
meandering through the park and choosing that perfect piece of art.
